OUR CAUSE
V for Victory began in 2017 after a local father’s young son was diagnosed with cancer. A cancer diagnosis shakes a family to its core. Families face unthinkable uncertainties and challenges, yet everyday responsibilities continue to move forward. During this difficult time, he saw firsthand how deeply the entire household is impacted when a loved one is battling cancer and how overwhelming it can be to focus on something as simple as preparing a meal, maintaining a home, or keeping up with essential daily tasks.
Drawing on his background in business, he created a unique model of service delivery: a nonprofit dedicated to activating local businesses and individuals to support families in their own communities. What began as one family’s crisis transformed into a mission-driven organization that now provides critical everyday services to adults, children, and families battling cancer. V for Victory currently serves as the only nonprofit in the nation that provides critical everyday services to any age and any diagnosis.
Since its founding, V for Victory has positively impacted the lives of thousands of families, providing practical relief during the toughest moments of their lives. As our community partnerships continue to grow and expand into new regions, so does our ability to serve more families facing cancer with dignity, compassion, and hope.
